The country estate is situated in the South-West of France, between Toulouse and Spain.
Toulouse (75 km, airport 1 hour) is a big “historic” French city with a rich cultural life (music, theater, museum).
Direction Spain: Lourdes (worlds most visited place of pilgrimage, well over an hour driving) and the French Pyrenees (nature areas and ski resorts).
In the direct vicinity there are typical French villages with nice marketplaces and terraces.
At only a few kilometers there are two beautiful lakes (fishing and forest life). At 20 minutes there is a wonderful lake with a white sand beach and (simple) water sport facilities. There exists also a school (center) for parasailing.
Furthermore: remains of a Roman settlement, caves, ancient churches etc.
In summer there are many festivals (Jazz at Marciac, Country and Western in Mirande, etc.).
